THINK is proud to announce that the Orkin website redesign is now live! The new site takes advantage of responsive design principles to deliver a rich interactive experience across all devices and platforms, and gives Orkin a more modern look and feel.
The objective of the web redesign was threefold:
- to bring to life the brand positioning of “Pest Control Down to a Science”
- to set clear expectations around service and demonstrate why The Orkin Man is the right choice for residential and business consumers
- to improve onsite lead conversation
Our design thinking lead to a site strategy of “show, don’t tell.” We took a highly visual approach to explaining Orkin’s process and setting customers’ expectations for service. Rich, evocative imagery helps brings to life what customers can expect from their Orkin Man and supports a simple 3-step overview of Orkin’s approach.
Significant focus was placed on metrics and analytics to establish a performance baseline and then measure the effectiveness of the site from the perspectives of both time on site/education/awareness goals and the business-related goal of lead conversation. In the first 24 hours of the site launch, our partner ConversionIQ reported a noticeable increase in conversation rates.
